"How to create a façade system that perform social program and privacy protect between separate housing unit? Kaleidoscope Proposal is a façade system suit for housing units at 1733 W Adams Blvd, next between another typical housing unit and low rise commercial building. The site location gives the project clear challenge in the privacy. On the other hand, in the original proposal, each unit are separated by narrow alley with inactivated program, it may cause alley become abandoned, and wasted in the future. So the Kaleidoscope proposal majorly target those two issues, and create friendly connection in the neighborhood.

如何运用建筑表皮解决独立分开住宅屋的社会以及隐私问题？万花筒提案是专门为 1733 w adam blvd 上的独立住宅屋设计的，房屋夹在另一个独立屋以及商业楼。特殊的踩点给了房屋安全隐私的挑战。另一方面，在原来的方案中，原本在两屋中的走道并没有充分的运用，有可能将来会面临遗弃以及浪费的问题。因此万花筒提案是专门为这两个问题以及提升邻居互动而设计的。

In response to privacy, connection, and green environment. I purpose a grid façade system based on original opening of the building. By doing this system, the facade perfectly blocks the vision from the visitor on the street and the people from surrounding buildings. On the other hand, continues with same concept, wrapping the alley with same grid structure but adding green provides visual block between units. And also give an opportunity to connect neighbor by inserting exercise/ relax platform between.

为了回复安全隐私，邻里互动，以及绿色环境。表皮是根据原有窗户设计的一个网格幕墙系统。这系统能阻挡路边行人以及邻居对房屋内的视线。另一边，在走廊运用一样的系统，但在系统中增加绿植物给了邻里友好的视觉阻挡，同时给了在走廊增加社区以及放松的功能。
